Level Group Hosts April 16 Launch Party For SoHo/Nolita Office

Partnership with Bowery Mission Anchors Community Involvement Workshop Series at Location Announced

Level Group, an innovative, full-service New York City real estate brokerage company, today announced a launch party for its office at 6 Spring Street in SoHo. The event, open to neighborhood residents and trade, is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, 2015, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The launch party reflects Level Group’s intention to play an active role in the community. “We’re a boutique firm and we emphasize personal relationships in our business dealings,” says Larry Link, president, Level Group. “We are consciously cultivating those kinds of relationships. We’re also ramping up our social responsibility program. Giving back is important to us.”

Food and clothing donations to benefit the Bowery Mission, which provides services to area homeless men, women and children and with whom Level Group has formed a partnership, will be accepted at the April 16 launch party. Plans are also in motion for the brokerage firm to donate computers to the Bowery Mission and for brokers to participate in volunteer activities.

Level Group is also unveiling a series of free workshops – “Leveling With You” – at its Spring Street office. The first one – “What’s Better in the Current Market: Buying or Renting?” – is set for Wednesday, April 29. “Co-op Buying 101: The Numbers that You Need to Know” will take place on Tuesday, May 12. The start time for the hour-long workshops is 6:30 PM. Level Group brokers, Jeremy Swillinger and Sonia Patel, respectively, will lead the presentations.

“Attendees, whether they are sellers, buyers, renters or investors, will get candid, straightforward discussions and walk away from these workshops with nuts-and-bolt information that they can immediately use in their housing decisions,” says Wendy (Weihsiun)Hung, Level Group’s director of corporate strategy. “In addition to our agents, we will bring in experts from real estate related industries, such as mortgage companies, to speak. And since SoHo and NoLita are among  Manhattan’s leading areas for art, fine dining and culture, we will also host events that reflect and support our neighborhood.” To RSVP to the April and May events, email (insert email address).

Among the transactions that Level Group has conducted in the neighborhood are several rentals at 200 Bowery Street, a sought after address. It currently has several luxury exclusives throughout SoHo and NoLita. “We have come a long way since we first moved into the space a year ago,” says Michael Greenberg, CEO, Level Group. “Our goal is to continue and grow the momentum and become the go-to brokerage firm for the area.”
