Douglas excels in providing the emotional support that's often required in a transaction; yet he also is highly analytical in his thinking and attentive to every detail. He realizes that by educating his buyers and sellers, he can not only enlighten their real estate experience, but help them make decisions with utmost confidence.
Douglas particularly enjoys working with first-time homebuyers, with whom he is extremely hands on. With his charm, wit and command of the market, he strives to make each individual feel comfortable and stress-free. "Buying, selling and renting real estate is a step-by-step process that requires patience, persistence and positivity. My goal is to ease the concern of clients by providing undivided attention from day one to closing day and beyond."
Prior to entering real estate, Douglas spent many years in the commercial printing business. He first spent 15 years as a sales manager then vice president for his family's 75-year-old printing facility that was located in the printing district of Manhattan on Varick Street. Douglas subsequently worked as an independent broker in the industry. He originally hails from Great Neck, Long Island, and spent two years living in Connecticut where he is also licensed to sell real estate.
Douglas has resided on the Upper East and West Sides of Manhattan as well as Gramercy, and loves showing clients around any part of town. As a loyal dog owner who's actively involved in animal rights, he is especially in tune to the human/pet connection, and has made finding living spaces that welcome animal owners one of his specialty niches. Douglas also is a movie and music buff, as well as an avid Yankees baseball fan who attends games whenever he can.
